Yesterday, my girlfriends daughter celebrated her first birthday with a themed party titled, "ONEderland". (I know, koodos to my overly talented and creative girlfriend, Sonia, who came up with it!)
When I walked into her house to deliver the cake the place was decorated to the nine. Huge blue and white balloons, sweet tables, snowflake backdrops, candy bowls, decorated marshmallows. I was completely blown off my feet (and I've seen my fair share of dressed up wedding halls and snazzy parties).
But at the same time, I would never expect anything less from her. It's who she is and these amazing things just come naturally to her. Jealous.
